2011 - 7/29 - 8/6 Dunmore Town, Harbor Island

Lounge area inside the Rock House
7/29 - 8/5 Several people told us about a resort & restaurant called The Rock House - I wanted to see it. It was amazing, lush landscaping, very chic,

romantic, private & elegant - WOW! Big $$ here! Of course, we had to get a drink, sit & chat by the pool. We stopped by the library & St John’s church but didn't do much else this day…long but ‘good for us’ walk. Back in the pool. Rattie was playing guitar outside between the bar & the pool & the bar. Says he has to play quietly in the bar so he plays outside - nice for us because we can hear him in the pool. On Sunday, we hiked over to the east side of the island. So many quaint homes, but we didn’t see any people (?). The hike was worth it once we rounded the top of the hill & saw the amazing visa of sand & sea. The sand was soft & white, the water perfect. Amazing homes on the hill. Finally found Sip Sip, a bar/restaurant high on the hill. Another awesomely chic but basic place, with a fabulous view of the ocean. It was Sunday-I had a mimosa. We shared a blue cheese stuffed burger, substituted the bun for a & substituted the bun for a salad. I’m here to tell you that this was most incredibly delicious, albeit, rich, burger I’ve EVER had in my life!! I needed a nap but we still had a long walk back to the marina. We gotta git us one of those golf carts!
